Why can’t Israel find peace? Above all else, Israel, today, yearns for peace, but without the “Prince of Peace.” They want the promise of God, the land, but without the Person of God, the Messiah. They desire the blessing of God, but without the Blessor Himself. They have returned to the land, but without returning to a relationship with God through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

Israel’s distressing situation is not rooted in the terrorists, the Palestinian Authority, nor the Muslim leaders; rather, it is their failure to trust in Jesus of Nazareth, the Holy One of Israel, as their long-awaited, promised Messiah and Saviour. Israel’s core problem is not external - the hatred of their neighbours toward them; rather, it is internal - the hardness of their own hearts towards God.
God is waiting for Israel to repent!
